We went turtling! I know in the first picture it kind of looks like they’re dead, but they’re resting on foam loops, on their backs. They just calm down and lay there when they’re on their backs, so I promise, they’re alive. Two were recaptures and two were first-time captures, so we tagged them. We only took the carapace length in terms of measurements. Apparently the turtle DR will be taking a lot more, such as width and DNA samples and such.
In all, we had a good time, I stayed on the boat because I didn’t want to put on a wet wetsuit, and we caught two hawksbill and two greens.
